Robert L. Hempfing, 67, died Sunday, March 14, 2021, at UPMC Hanover Hospital.  He was the husband of Linda A. (Nitchman) Hempfing, with whom he would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on March 23.

Bob was born October 29, 1953, in Hanover, the son of the late George and Gertrude (Rohrbaugh) Hempfing.

Bob worked at D.K. Hershey and L&H Trucking as shop foreman, and was currently working part-time at Norm's Auction.  He enjoyed going to auctions, working at Norm's and spending time with his family.  Bob was a loving husband and father, and he will be truly missed.

In addition to his wife Linda, Bob is survived by a stepson, Dustin M. Addison and his wife Jennifer of Hellam, and a brother, Richard Hempfing of New Oxford.  He was predeceased by a stepson, Christopher Addison.
