Robert L." Bob" Maxwell, 83, passed away peacefully at his home, Sunday, July 17, 2022, with his wife, Joan M. Hinton, at his side.

Bob was born July 1, 1939 in McKeesport, the son of the late William H. and Bessie F. (Fergusson) Maxwell.

Bob served in the US Air Force from 1958 to 1962 and was a PA State Trooper for over 21 years from1969 to 1992. He was a member of the Hebron Masonic Lodge in Coudersport.

In addition to his wife Joan Marie, Bob is survived by her children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie E. (Ochs) Maxwell, who died October 19, 2018.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 11 AM at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin, with Pastor Barry Sweitzer officiating. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Cemetery, Abbottstown. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pennsylvania State Troopers Association,   3625 Vartan Way, Harrisburg, PA. 17110.
