Richard E. "Rich" Myers, 60, passed Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.  He was the husband of Jeanne M. (Zinn) Myers.

Rich was born September 3, 1962, in Hanover, the son of the late Betty L. (Blair) Hartlaub.

Rich was a 1980 graduate of Hanover High School, was a firefighter in Baltimore Co., MD for 25 years, and was Fire Chief with Grangeville Fire Company, Hanover, for many years.  After retirement, he loved traveling to FL, where he enjoyed camping and fishing.  Rich was a jack of all trades, enjoyed fixing things, and was the family's mentor.

In addition to his wife Jeanne, Rich is survived by a daughter, Lee Anne Lubbers and her husband John of York, six grandchildren, a sister, Stacey Laughman of East Berlin, a niece, Kelly Jacoby of FL, a nephew, Joshua Soltes of Hanover, and many extended family.  He was predeceased by a brother, Michael Myers.
