Richard K. Black, 38, died Friday, July 1, 2016, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore. Richard was born August 24, 1977, in Hanover, the son of Ronald W. Black of New Oxford and Catherine A. (Noel) Sanderson of Gettysburg.
Richard is survived by a son, Dakota Black of Hanover; four sisters, Amanda Kress of Spring Grove, Elizabeth Kauffman of Gettysburg, Susan Frazier of New Oxford, and Alanna Sanderson of Gettysburg; one brother, Joseph Black of Hanover; a paternal grandmother, Ruth A. Black of New Oxford; and a maternal grandmother, Mary L. Noel of New Oxford.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, with Pastor Brother Timothy Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, PA 17350, to help defray the cost of the funeral.
