Rebecca L. Julian

Rebecca L. Julian, 58, passed away peacefully at her farm in New Oxford on Sunday, July 10, 2016. Born December 17, 1957 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of I. Ross Lytle and the late Helen (Thal) Lytle.
Becky was an avid horsewoman and passionate lover of animals. She taught English riding locally for a number of years and got her greatest joy from helping young people develop the art and skill of riding. She was also active in several local equestrian organizations, shows and clinics. She became a staunch advocate for animal adoption and was proudly training two young dogs adopted through the Adams County SPCA. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 33 years, Ken Julian; and son, Brad Julian of Silver Spring, MD. She is also survived by her father, Ross; and two sisters, Mary Jane (Lytle) Kelly and husband, Tom of Denton, MD, and Christine (Lytle) Shaw and husband, Brian of Joppa, MD; as well as many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
A time to share memories with the family will be scheduled within the next several weeks. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Adams County SPCA or CANTER Pennsylvania, an organization dedicated to providing new homes for retiring Thoroughbred racehorses.
