Raymond C. Zartman, Jr, 79, of New Oxford, died Thursday, September 28, 2017, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Catherine A. (Weaver) Zartman, and the late Rose A. (Riser) Zartman.

Raymond was born on December 25, 1937 in Littlestown, the son of the late Raymond C. and Pauline Winifred (Kress) Zartman, Sr.

Raymond was a member of the New Oxford Social and Athletic Club and loved to mow grass.

Raymond is survived by three daughters, Deborah M. Jago of Littlestown, Barbara A. Varian of New Oxford and Lori A. Greenholt of Abbottstown, four sons, Gerald J. Zartman of Dover, James A. Zartman of New Oxford, Joseph G. Zartman of Littlestown and Jeffrey M. Zartman of Hanover, 19 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and one brother, Ronald Zartman of Hanover. He was predeceased by a brother, Roger Zartman.
