Ralph J. Barra, Jr, 83, of New Oxford, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at his residence.  He was the husband of Margaret E. (Posa) Barra, his wife of 59 years.

Ralph was born May 17, 1934, in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Ralph J. and Marie (Hansen) Barra, Sr.

Ralph proudly served in the U.S. Army, was a mechanical engineer at Westinghouse Electric Corporation, President of Barra International, and owner of Cedar Woods Farm.

Ralph is survived by a large loving family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 1 PM at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with Rev. Timothy D. Marcoe officiating.  Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery in Abbottstown.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 PM until the time of the service.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
