Obituary

Phyllis J. Spahr, 90, passed Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Mercy House of Chambersburg.

Phyllis was born July 1, 1934 in East Berlin, the daughter of the late Raymond L. and Marion K. (Reynolds) Spahr.

Phyllis was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church in East Berlin.

Phyllis is survived by two sisters, Jane Myers of Peoria, AZ, and Barbara Mummert of East Berlin, two granddaughters, Heather Gentzler and her husband Steve, of East Berlin and Jamic Highman and her husband Mike of PA, two great granddaughters, Mattea Hilbert, Jr. and her husband Brad of East Berlin and Chloe Hightman of PA, three great grandsons, Layne Paules of York, Devin Hightman of PA, and Skyler Gentzler of East Berlin, three great great grandchildren, Makenna, Asher, and Caleb, and a son-in-law, Louis Becker of Paw Paw, WV. She was predeceased by a daughter, Connie Becker, two brothers, George and Larry Spahr, one sister, Louise Flinchbaugh, and a great granddaughter, Mariah Paules.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 1 PM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin. Officiating will be Rev. Kristina Stab. Burial will be in East Berlin Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 AM until the time of the service. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
