Norman H. Zepp, 94, died Thursday, September 8, 2016 at his home. He was the husband of Miriam A.(Peters) Zepp, his wife of 67 years.
Norman was born August 22, 1922 in Straban Twp., New Oxford, the son of the late Harry and Edna (Yohe) Zepp.
Norman was a lifelong member of St. Paul's "The Pines" Lutheran Church, New Oxford. He left the 11th grade, at the time of his father's death, to tend to the farm. Norman was an initial member of the FFA of Gettysburg and was involved with numerous farm organizations. His farm, "Zeppdale", was placed on the Centennial Farm List by the PA Agriculture Department in January 2016.
In addition to his wife, Miriam, Norman is survived by two sons, Alan N. Zepp and his wife, Lucinda of New Oxford and Barry E. Zepp and his wife, Melanie of Buda, TX; two daughters, Carol A. Zepp Dovletoglou and her husband, Angelos of Hamilton, MA and Joyce L. Vanderscheuren and her husband, Michael of Minneapolis, MN; eight grandchildren, Julie Dunlop, Ryan Zepp, Nicholas Zepp, Derek Zepp, Tyler Zepp, Christopher Dovletoglou, Elsie Dovletoglou and Hannah Vanderscheuren; five great-grandchildren, Addison, Sam, Morgan, Hadley and Benjamin. He was predeceased by two sisters; and one brother.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Paul's" The Pines" Lutheran Church, with the Vicor, Andy Wagner, officiating. Burial will be in the New Oxford Cemetery. A viewing will be held Sunday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Paul's "The Pines" Lutheran Church, 1535 Hunterstown-Hampton Rd., New Oxford, PA. 17350.
