Nelda A. Teal

Nelda A. (Swope) Teal, 94, died Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of John F. Teal, Jr, who died January 5, 2003.
Nelda was born October 12, 1922 in Hanover, the daughter of the late Luther R. and Sadie M. (Copenhaver) Swope.
Nelda was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Dover.
Nelda is survived by a daughter, Joan M. Parr and her husband Roger of East Berlin; a son, Larry L. Teal and his wife Cathy of Victoria, VA; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Lorraine Bolden of Hanover; and a brother, Floyd Swope of East Berlin. She was predeceased by two sons, Ronald L. and Thomas E. Teal; and two grandsons, Craig Parr and Ronald Teal, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin, with her pastor, Rev. Amy Northridge officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Hanover. A viewing will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
