Nancy J. (Sieg) Gross, 82, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior, Jesus, Monday, January 5, 2026, with loving family by her side at her daughter’s home. She was the wife of the late Laverne E. Gross, her husband of 57 years, who passed January 12, 2019.

Nancy was born October 26, 1943, in Hanover, the daughter of the late Rush K. and Annabel L. (Hamme) Sieg.

Nancy was a 1961 graduate of New Oxford High School, a member of Calvary Bible in Hanover, and the National Association of Tax Preparers. She had her own tax preparation business, Nancy Gross Income Tax Service for 38 years and enjoyed knowing her clients.

Nancy is survived by a daughter, Davona D. Palmer and her husband Scott of Westminster, two sons, Douglas E. Gross and his wife Tracy of Shiremanstown, and Nicholas A. Gross of Abbottstown, five grandchildren, Sarah Palmer, Rachel DiMaggio and her husband Thomas, Leah Gross and her fiancé Todd Houser, Trent Gross and Kaylee Gross, a brother, Kenneth Sieg, and two sisters, Roxanne Berry and Cindy Warner.

Funeral services, with Pastor Dominic Aquilino, will be private. Burial will take place at Rest Haven Cemetery in Hanover.
