Nancy Jane Barthelme, 87, of Gettysburg entered eternal rest on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Gettysburg Hospital. She was born in York and was the daughter of the late Lester E. and Eva R. (Danner) Deardorff. She was loving wife of the late Julius A. Barthelme.

She was a Christian by faith and was a member of the St. Paul’s Red Run Church. She joined the Gettysburg Walking Club and was supportive of her son’s humane organization activities. Sewing was a passion of hers and she could sew anything that you wished. Nancy also enjoyed gardening and going antiquing.

Nancy is survived by her son, Julius Barthelme of Gettysburg and her daughter, Alesia Barthelme of Hanover. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Nancy’s Funeral Service at Feiser Funeral & Cremation Care, 306 Harrisburg St. East Berlin, PA on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
