Michael Lee Walton, 70, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Friday, February 27, 2026, at home.

Born November 10, 1955, in York, Michael was the son of the late Kenneth Eugene Walton and the late Shirley June (Pascoe) Shedlock. Michael was the loving husband to Catherine R. (Little) Walton with whom he shared 35 years of marriage.

Michael worked for Eisenhart’s Wallcoverings as a machine operator followed by working for a painting contractor until retirement. In his free time, Michael enjoyed spending his time with his family, woodworking, and studying the word of God.

In addition to his wife Catherine, Michael is survived by two sons, Chad M. Walton & his wife Ashley of Abbottstown, and Joshua L. Walton of Hanover, as well as his brother, Greg Walton & his wife Lori of Hanover. He also leaves behind, niece Chelsea Zawisa and her husband Zach, and a grandniece, Rosemary June. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley June Shedlock, his father Kenneth Eugene Walton and stepmother Vivian Walton, as well as one nephew, Sam Walton.

Following cremation, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
