Michael S. Kushla, 63, passed Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at his home.  He was the husband of Dani (Traylor) Kushla, his wife of 17 years.

Mike was born May 29, 1959, in Philadelphia, the son of the late Stephen and Jean (McDonald) Kushla.

Mike served in the U.S. Army and attended Life Discovery Church in McSherrystown.  His passion and dedication was to helping those struggling with alcohol and drug addiction.

In addition to his wife Dani, Mike is survived by three sons, Patrick Kushla of East Berlin, Danny Kushla of Shiloh and Michael Kushla, Jr of Dover, five daughters, Suzann Grim and Angela VanAtta, both of East Berlin, Beth Harris of New Oxford, Amanda Leese of Thomasville, and Jeani Williams of NC, 18 grandchildren, a sister, Barbara Kushla of NJ, and two cousins, Johnny Dukes and Karen Rawlings.  He was predeceased by a son, Levi V. Gladfelter, and a sister Kathy Kushla.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 7 PM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, with Pastor Gerry Stolzfoos officiating.  Burial will be private.  A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5-7 PM.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
