Michael J. Dettinburn, 67, died Friday August 26, 2016 in Kane, PA.
Michael was born March 29, 1949 in Hanover, the son of Nadine M. (Bevenour) Dettinburn of Hanover, and the late Conway J. Dettinburn.
Michael served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was a life member of the New Oxford Social & Athletic Club, where he was formerly the manager of the club.
In addition to his mother, Deanie, Michael is survived by two sisters, Rose M. Marchio and husband Dan, of Hanover, and Patricia A. Johnson and husband, Dan of Biglerville; three brothers, David B. Dettinburn of Hanover, Craig J. Dettinburn of New Oxford, and Joseph S. Dettinburn and wife, Elaine of Hanover; a sister-in-law, Judy A. Dettinburn of New Oxford; and 16 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Daniel R. Dettinburn.
Following cremation, a service to celebrate Michael's life will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, with The Rev. Joseph Howard officiating. Burial will be private. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
