Mervin D. Laughman, 77, passed Saturday, December 25, 2021, at his home.  He was the husband of the late Linda L. (Lippy) Hoke-Laughman, who died May 14, 2016.

Mervin was born March 23, 1944, in Hanover, the son of the late Lloyd and Charlotte (Bowman) Laughman.

Mervin was a member of Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church in Hanover, and retired from Gichner Shelter Systems in Dallastown.  He was an avid sports fan, and loved spending time with his family and music.

Mervin is survived by a son, Michael J. Hoke and his wife Gail of Thomasville, three daughters, Sandra A. Lauer and her husband Ernest of Spring Grove, and Dee A. Guinn, and Shelby L. Boone and her husband Roy, all of Hanover, 18 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a sister, Barbara Farley of Hanover.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 1 PM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with Rev. David DeLong officiating.  Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 PM until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Heather Baker Foundation, C/O Linda Hartman, 678 Old Hanover Rd, Spring Grove, PA 17362.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
