Melvin C. Shull, 66, of Gettysburg, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016 at Gettysburg Hospital.

Melvin was born Sept. 22, 1950 in Hanover, the son of the late Samuel C. and Dorothy R. (Wagner) Shull.

Melvin attended Memorial Baptist Church in Gettysburg.

Melvin is survived by three brothers, Perry Shull of West Virginia, Vaughn Shull of Fairfield, and Fred Shull of Gettysburg; and five sisters, Holly Lancaster and Dorothea Mullinix, both of Gettysburg, Lisa Hicks of South Carolina, April Heflin of Gettysburg, and Rosella Moll of Whitehall. He was predeceased by two brothers, Dwight and Jeffrey Shull.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, with Pastor Steve Baker officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Gettysburg. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
