Melissa A. (Smith) Byers, 54, died Monday, January 2, 2017 at her residence.
Melissa was born January 23, 1962 in Hanover, the daughter of the late Glenn and Beverly A. (Masenheimer) Smith.
Melissa was a 1980 graduate of Bermudian Springs High School.
Melissa is survived by two daughters, Alecia A. Werner of New Oxford, and Toshia L. Viands and her husband, Brad of Hanover; five grandchildren, Dylan, Dawson, Lonny, Curtis and Liam; and two sisters, Robin Grim of Hanover, and Tammy Pease of Harrisburg. She was predeceased by a sister, Wanda Hinson.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore St, Hanover.
