Mary L. (Mellinger) Stock, 94, died Friday, May 7, 2021, at Homewood at Plum Creek.  She was the wife of the late Henry J. Stock, who died December 2, 1998.

Mary was born October 10, 1926, in Hopewell Twp., York Co., the daughter of the late James and Florence (Campbell) Mellinger.

Mary was a member of St. Paul's U.C.C. in New Oxford, where she served as Consistory President, Sunday School President, and taught Sunday School.  She was a graduate of Stewartstown High School, Indiana University of PA, and did graduate work at Penn State.  Mary retired from the Conewago Valley School District, and was a substitute teacher for Lincoln Intermediate Unit.  She was a member and past worthy matron in the Order of The Eastern Star #378, secretary and treasurer for Boy Scout Troop #85, a past Cub Scout leader, and a past secretary for the New Oxford Chamber of Commerce.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Susan S. Shultz and her husband Thomas of Hanover, a son, Thomas H. Stock and his wife Anita of New Oxford, three grandchildren, Nathan Stock, Megan Stock, and Harry Schultz, and three great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11 AM, at St. Paul's U.C.C., 20 S. Peters St, New Oxford, with her pastor, Rev.
