Mary A. (Speelman) Moore, 74, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 peacefully at home. She was the wife of the late Charles J. Moore, her husband of 35 years, who passed away February 19, 2016.

Mary was born March 21, 1948 in Gettysburg, the daughter of the late Belford S. and Viola B. (Baumgardner) Speelman.

Mary had a gentle and kind heart. She was always helping others, and enjoyed dancing, cooking and travel.

Mary is survived by five daughters, Michelle Speelman of Hanover, Deborah Blauch of Palmyra, Barbara Walker of Hanover, Jacqueline Heffner of Windsor, and Christine Williams of Hanover, three sons, Philip Moore of New Oxford, Kenneth Moore of Hanover, and Patrick Moore of York,15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren

She was predeceased by a daughter, Stacey E. Hamaker, a son, Noah D. Speelman, and a grandson, Garrett L. Hamaker.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM, at New Oxford Cemetery. Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
