Mary A. (Kehr) Chronister, 96, passed Saturday, August 9, 2025, at her home in Naples, FL.  She was the wife of the late Frank A. Chronister, Sr, who passed March 3, 2006.

Mary was born April 3, 1929, in Melrose, MD, the daughter of the late George C. and Annie (Stauffer) Kehr.

Mary was a member of Zwingli U.C.C. in East Berlin, and retired in 1992 from Hanover Shoe after 17 years of service.

Mary is survived by a son, Frank A. Chronister Jr, and his wife Sally of Lynchburg, VA, a daughter, Diane M. Lang and her companion Albert Crossley of Naples, FL, 9 step grandchildren, 12 step great grandchildren, a sister, Jessie Mae Riley of Dover, and a brother, Linwood Kehr of Hanover.  She was predeceased by 3 sisters; Helena Hagerman, Martha Hoover and Margaret Brooks, and five brothers; Donald, Dean, Glenn, Leroy and Raymond Kehr.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 11 AM, at Zwingli U.C.C., 403 W. King St, East Berlin, with Rev. Rhonda Feiser officiating.  Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens, Dover.  A viewing will be held at the church on Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
