Marvin “Mick” Westfall, 70, of New Oxford, entered eternal rest peacefully at his home on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Born in Groton, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Marvin Matthew and Frances Gladys (Farrell) Westfall. He was the devoted husband of Joan (Hoff) Westfall, with whom he shared almost 50 years of marriage.
Mick dedicated 42 years of his life to the J.E. Baker Company in York before retiring. He was a man who found joy in the simple things in life. He enjoyed raising steers, woodworking, gardening, and beekeeping, but his greatest joy and pride was his family.
Mick was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was the kind of person who would do anything for the people he loved. His family was truly his world, and he was always there with a helping hand, a listening ear, and a heart full of love. His presence brought comfort and strength to those around him, and the memories he created with his family will be treasured for generations to come.
He was predeceased by his beloved son, Bryan M. Westfall, whose memory will forever remain a cherished part of his family.
In addition to his wife, Joan, Mick is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Timmins and her husband, David, of Hanover; daughter-in-law, Terri Westfall-Aeppli and her husband, Scott, of Dillsburg; grandchildren, Nolan and Bryson Westfall, Ella, Tara, Kyle, and Haley Timmins; great-grandchildren, Liam and Josie Timmins; and his sister, Cheryl Martinetti and her husband, Tony.
Mick leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, hard work, and family. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort knowing that the love and advice he gave so freely will continue to live on through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those fortunate enough to have known him.
In keeping with Marvin’s wishes, there will be no services.
