Marlene V. (Cassatt) Smith, 82, died Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the York Hospital. She was the wife of Lindell C. Smith.

Marlene was born October 25, 1935 in Heidelberg, PA, the daughter of the late George M. and Mary M. (Luckenbaugh) Cassatt.

In addition to her husband, Lindell, Marlene is survived by two daughters; Wanda K. Stoner and her fiancée Rhett of Lewisbury and Robin L. Staub and her husband H. William of New Oxford, one son, Lindell "Lin" C. Smith and his wife Amy of East Berlin, five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, one brother, Gary Cassatt and his wife Betty, and one sister, Mary Bly and her husband Barry. She was predeceased by one brother, one sister and a grandson.

Following cremation, a Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 6-8 PM, from the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Feiser Funeral Home, New Oxford, is in charge of the arrangements.
