Marie A. (Ognibene) Weeks, 92, passed Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Transitions Healthcare Nursing Home, Gettysburg. She was the wife of the late John "Jack" Weeks who passed away in 1986.

Marie was born January 22, 1931 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Dominic and Theresa (Paras) Ognibene.

Marie was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Abbottstown. She was a volunteer with Lake Meade Fire and Rescue Company for many years, and belonged to many social organizations.

Marie is survived by a son, Mark J. Weeks of East Berlin, a son-in law, Steven L. Wurmb of Woodstock, GA, two granddaughters, Shannon and Megan Wurmb, and four great grandsons, Dalton, Harper, Milo and Oliver Mitchell. She was predeceased by a daughter, Leigh Ann Wurmb, who passed away 1999.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 11 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 6084 W. Canal Rd, Abbottstown, with Rev Samuel DuBois officiating. Burial will be private at St. Alphonsus Rodriguez Catholic Cemetery in Woodstock, MD. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service.
