Luther Franklin Staub II, 85, of Westminster, Maryland, passed away at home on January 4, 2026. Luther was born August 11, 1940, in Dickerson, Maryland, the son of the late Luther and Margaret (Gue) Staub. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beverly (Spertzel) Staub.

A graduate of Gaithersburg High School, Luther proudly served in the United States Army. He worked for many years as a fuel oil delivery driver for John R. Brown and Tevis Energy. He had a passion for landscaping and yardwork; owning his own landscaping business and traveling to all 50 states with Beverly. Following his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with family, painting landscapes, and maintaining his own yard as a haven for songbirds and squirrels. He was kind and gentle, cherishing time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandsons and the family pets. Luther is a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hampton, PA, and the American Legion.

His memory will live on in his children, Doug, Laura (Andrew), Rebecca (Chris); grandchildren, Doug Jr.(Mayra), Samantha, Taylor, Michael, Gabriel, Jaxon; great-grandsons, Tobyn and Finan; brothers Jerry and Robert “Gene”, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by brothers, John and Edmund “Butch”, and sisters Barbara and Nancy Carol.

The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm pm at Feiser Funeral Home, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, PA. His funeral service will be at 2:00pm on Friday, January 9, 2026, with a viewing beginning at 1:00pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 5450 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to St. John’s Lutheran Church or Carroll Hospital Center.
