Laurie A. Cumbee, 59, of New Oxford, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, Tuesday, March 8, 2022. She was the wife of Thomas B. Cumbee, her husband of 42 years.

Laurie was born June 30, 1962 in Hanover, the daughter of the late Merle E. and Loretta A. (Krichten) Winand.

Laurie was a homemaker, as caring for her family and home was what made her happy.

In addition to her husband Thomas, Laurie is survived by two daughters, Amanda Jordan of McSherrystown and Melissa Monroe and her husband Michael of Biglerville, one grandson, Ivan Monroe of Biglerville, three sisters, Beverly Mitchum of Vincennes, IN, Deborah Sechman of Mooresville, IN, and Donna Siple of York, two brothers, Robert Beaver of Spring Grove, and Terry Beaver of CA, and a sister-in-law, Sharon Beaver of Mooresville, IN. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Joseph Jordan and a brother, Donald Beaver.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
