Laura L. (Hayes) Mendenhall, 69, died Thursday, February 2, 2017, at the York Hospital. She was affectionately known to many as "Granny".
Granny was born August 1, 1947 in King City, Calif. the daughter of Rex and Georgia Hayes of Salinas, Calif.
In addition to her parents, Rex and Georgia, Granny is survived by a daughter, Dawn Gulan and her fiancée, Phil Kline of Abbottstown; a son, Rick Gulan and his wife, Tina of East Berlin; two granddaughters, Lola Gulan and Kylie Gulan; one grandson, River Gulan; two sisters, Cathy Shaw and her husband, Cary of Salinas, Calif. and Nancy Asuncion and her husband, Robert of Salinas, Calif.
Following cremation, Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the ASPCA, 11 Goldenville Rd. Gettysburg, PA. 17325.
