Larry S. LaRue, 91, passed Friday, June 21, 2024, at SpiriTrust Lutheran Gettysburg.  He was the husband of Mary J. (Reinecker) LaRue, his wife of 71 years.

Larry was born October 10, 1932, in York Springs, the son of the late H. Jerry and Stella M. (Cline) LaRue.

Larry was a member of York Springs Global Methodist Church, retired from Kuhn Transportation, and was a truck driver for many years.

In addition to his wife Mary, Larry is survived by a brother, Jerry D. LaRue and his wife Judi of York Springs, a sister, Sonya M. Freeburn of York Springs, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Victor E. LaRue.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 11 AM, at York Springs Global Methodist Church, 840 Trolley Rd, York Springs, with his pastor, Rev. Trisha Guise officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Abbottstown.  There will be no viewing, however the family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105, or to Samaritan's Purse, 801 Bamboo Rd, Boone, NC 28607.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
