Larry G. Fissel, 90, passed Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Columbia Cottage in Hanover.  He was the husband of Shirley J. (Knight) Fissel, his wife of 60 years, who passed January 5, 2017.

Larry was born February 11, 1933, in East Berlin, the son of the late Curvin W.L. and Beulah K. (Myers) Fissel.

Larry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a member of Zwingli U.C.C. in East Berlin.  He was also a member of East Berlin V.F.W., East Berlin Fire Co., East Berlin Lions Club, Hebron Lodge #465, New Oxford.

Larry is survived by two daughters, Lori S. Roller and her husband Wayne of East Berlin, and Robin L. Saxon and her husband Rick of York, four grandchildren, Justin L. Roller and his wife Erin, Leslie A. Roller, Melanie J. Rusnak and her husband Steven, and Nicole L. McFalls and her husband Luke, and six great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a sister, Delores Hoke.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 11 AM, at Zwingli U.C.C., 403 W. King St, East Berlin, with his pastor, Rev. Julie Beall officiating.  Burial will be in East Berlin Union Cemetery.  A viewing will be held at the church on Monday, from 10 until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
