Kenneth E. Myers, Sr, 76, of York Springs, died Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Hanover Hospital. He was the husband of the late Shirley A. (Sponseller) Myers, who died October 23, 1998.
Kenneth was born March 2, 1940 in East Berlin, the son of the late Charles and Hilda (Weaver) Myers.
Kenneth is survived by 3 daughters; Brenda L. Stevens of New Oxford, Barbara A. Robinson and her husband Kenneth of East Berlin, and Tammy L. Bierkamp and her husband Jeffrey of New Oxford, 3 sons; Kenneth E. Myers, Jr and his wife Denise, Randy L. Myers and his wife Norma, and Rick A. Myers and his wife Lisa all of New Oxford, his domestic partner, Flossie A. Anderson of York Springs, 4 stepsons; Charles McCachren of Rossville, Gregory McCachren of Dover, Brian McCachren of Reading, and Donald McCachren of Spring Grove, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a brother, Carl Myers of York Springs, a sister, Ruth Shoemaker of New Oxford, and his dogs, Buddy and Nickiya. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Shue, and a brother, Paul Myers.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 10 AM at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, with Elder Fred Miller officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Hanover. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 AM until the time of the service. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
