Kenneth J. "Ken" Golden, 52, of New Oxford, died Thursday, October 12, 2017 at his home. He was the husband of Robin E. (Gladfelter) Golden, his wife of 29 years, and was to celebrate their 29th wedding anniversary on October 29, 2017

Ken was born September 26, 1965 in Gettysburg, the son of Joyce L. (Weaver) Golden of Gettysburg,  and the late Harold K. Golden.

Ken was employed with the Utz Quality Foods Co., Hanover, for 25 years. He was a graduate from Gettysburg High School, class of 83. Ken loved to restore antiques and enjoyed restoring his antique car. He was known, and will be remembered for his great sense of humor.

In addition to his wife Robin, Ken is survived by two sons; Brandon J. Golden of New Oxford and Austin J. Golden of Gettysburg, a brother, Thomas A. Golden and his wife Gloria of Hanover, a niece, Kristen N. Cortez of Hanover, a nephew, Jacob R. Golden of Hanover, a father-in-law, Howard C. Gladfelter of Gettysburg, and a mother-in-law, Darlene M. DeShong of Gettysburg. He was predeceased by an infant sister, Elaine Golden.

Memorial services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Family Life Church of God, 233 Carlisle St., New Oxford, with Pastor Kevin Wells officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Feiser Funeral Home to help defray the cost of the funeral.
