Katharine L. "Kathy" (Watts) Smith, 78, passed Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at her home.  She was the wife of Michael D. Smith.

Kathy was born March 30, 1947, in Latimore, the daughter of the late John E. and Edna I. (Vaughn) Watts.

Kathy was a member of Cross Keys Fellowship in New Oxford.

In addition to her husband Mike, Kathy is survived by her children, Zeal Hinkle, William Hinkle, Angel Grogan, and Brian Smith, 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 brothers, Leroy Watts, Robert Watts, and Calvin Watts.
