Julia (Mooneyham) Glazier, 94, passed Monday, August 21, 2024, at Celebration Villa of Dillsburg. She was the wife of the late Arthur E. Glazier, Sr, her husband of 65 years, who passed July 1, 2015.

Julia was born September 15, 1929, in Cary, (Panther Branch) NC, the daughter of the late Coy W. and Irene (Partin) Mooneyham.

Julia enjoyed good health and a happy life. Julia grew up in the Raleigh and Wilmington, NC. She was a young wife and a wonderful mother to twins, the late Arthur E. Glazier, Jr, and Debra Glazier Sneed. Julia was a hard worker and great example to all who knew her. She never met a stranger. In midlife, she and her husband, Arthur, famous in his own right as a folk artist, started a very successful antique business. Julia was his greatest support. Julia's young family was not wealthy, but her children never knew it. Julia was the rock of the family.

Julia is survived by a daughter, Debra G. Sneed of East Berlin, two grandsons, Malcolm Glazier of Pittsburgh and Quinton Glazier of Ft. Pierce, FL, a niece Jane Wallace of Sparta, NC, and a cousin, Jan Mooneyham of Washington, DC and Wilmington, NC. Julia was predeceased by a son-in- law, Michael Sneed.

Following cremation, funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
