Obituary

Judy A. (Myers) Meckley, 67, entered into God's eternal care on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, with her loving family by her side.  She was preceded in death four weeks earlier by her son Troy.

Judy is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Holly, daughter-in-law, Shawna, and grandsons, Jalen, Jase and Jaxon, the joys of her life.  She is also survived by her mother, Anna Mae Myers of Thomasville, sisters Joan Smith of Hanover, Jean Phillips and her husband Bob of Millsboro, DE, and Joanne Myers of Hanover, and brothers Michael Myers of Thomasville, and Rodney Myers of New Oxford.  Judy was also predeceased by her father, Joe Myers, brother Bob Myers, and brother-in-law Dennis Smith.

Judy's greatest love and first priority was always her children and grandchildren who will miss her dearly.  She was a 1973 graduate of Spring Grove Area High School, where she played goalie on the field hockey team.  Judy was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Oxford, a dedicated volunteer for Make-A-Wish Foundation, and was a talented creator of oil paintings and beautiful ceramic pieces.  Puzzles, sudoko, music, dancing, and spending time with her multitude of friends and family filled her life with laughter and fun.

Now safely in God's kingdom, she will again have her voice to laugh, her feet to dance, and her arms to hug the three men she loved the most in this world.  A special thanks to her dedicated healthcare crew, Molly, Dolly and Sandy, who looked after her with a respect for life, a gentle spirit and a thoughtful consideration for her family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 12 PM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with Rev. Keith Carroll officiating.  A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, from 11 AM until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, a donation to VNA/Hospice, 440 N. Madison St, Hanover, PA 17331 would be greatly appreciated with many thanks for their wonderful care during a difficult time.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
