Joyce M. (Gilbert) Mummert, 91, passed peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at her home.  She was the wife of the late Glenn W. Mummert, who passed February 20, 2009.

Joyce was born June 9, 1934, in York, the daughter of the late Moses E. and Ruth W. (Mercer) Gilbert.

Joyce was a member of the Faith Community of The Brethren Home Community.  She was a long-time volunteer at The Brethren Home, and loved living there, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Joyce was an avid baseball fan, and loved Jesus and peanut butter.

Joyce is survived by a son, Michael L. Mummert and his wife Susie of East Berlin, two grandchildren; Molly Chalmus and her husband Maurice of Baltimore, MD and Colby Frantz and his wife Erica of East Berlin, and three great grandchildren; Ian Frantz, Mina Frantz and Maxine Joy Chalmus.  She was predeceased by two sons; Chris Mummert and Rob Mummert, and 10 brothers and sisters.
