Joyce E. (Leiphart) Brooks, 78, died Sunday, April 4, 2021, at Manor Care North.  She was the wife of the late Doyle C. Brooks, who died February 2, 2014.

Joyce was born November 28, 1942, in York, the daughter of the late Philip S. and Elizabeth (Snyder) Leiphart, Jr.

Joyce retired from The Brethren Home Community.

Joyce is survived by a daughter, Rebecca S. Roth and her husband Tim of McSherrystown, two grandchildren, Jacob A. Roth, and Olivia C. Roth, a brother, Mike Leiphart of York, and two sisters, Ruthann Freed of Columbia, and Mary Case of Wrightsville.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Terry Leiphart and Philip Leiphart, III, and a sister, Janice Johnson.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 2 PM, at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in New Oxford.  Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 3417 Concord Rd, Ste C, York, PA 17402.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
