John A. "Jack" Stephens, 53, of East Berlin, died Friday, November 24, 2017 at his home.

John was born May 21, 1964, in Mechanicsburg, the youngest son of the late James E. and Nancy A. (Taylor) Stephens, Sr.

John was a 1982 graduate of Bermudian Springs School.

John never lost his love of music. He started playing drums in the 4th grade and never stopped. "The song ended, but the melody lingers on" Irving Berlin.

John is survived by a beloved daughter, Nicole Marie Stephens of Dillsburg, three brothers; James Stephens Jr, and his wife Deb, of York Springs, Robert Stephens of New Oxford, and                                                          David Omar Stephens of East Berlin, three sisters; Debra Stephens and her husband Tim Bishop of Frostburg, MD, Cheryl A. Simpson and her husband  Joseph of  Mechanicsburg, and Teresa K. Miklos and her husband Brian of Cranberry Twp., PA, two nieces; Telly Taylor and her husband Dan, and Lydia Miklos,  four nephews: James Stephens III, Anthony Simpson, Stuart Stephens, and Tanner Miklos, and four great nieces and nephews

Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM, at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin. Burial will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Sunnyside Cemetery, York Springs.  A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of service.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
