Jill L. (Penrod) Becker, 62, of the Hanover/New Oxford area, died Friday, August 19, 2016 at her son's residence with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of Francis G. "Jerry" Becker, Jr, her husband of 36 years.
Jill was born May 12, 1954 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late Harry I. and Margaret O. (Gary) Penrod. In addition to her husband, Jerry, Jill is survived by two sons, Bobby E. Wolfe, Jr. and wife, Vicky of Hanover and Barry M. Becker and wife, Amanda of New Oxford; a daughter, Terri R. Becker of Wisconsin; a step daughter, Barbara Zepp-Sherven and husband, Josh of Hanover; seven grandchildren; six step grandchildren; a sister, Judy Hughes and husband, William, Sr., of Deeprun, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11 a.m., from the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, with the Rev. Gerald E. Stoltzfoos officiating. Burial will be in the New Oxford Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
