Jesus Moreno-Santoyo, de 65 años, falleció el lunes 23 de Octubre de 2017 en el Hospital Inova Fairfax. Él era el esposo de Sara Garcia DeMoreno.

Jesús nació el 24 de Julio de 1952 en Guanajuato, México, hijo del fallecido Salvador Moreno-Núñez y de Concepción Santoyo.

Jesús fue miembro de la Iglesia Católica St. Francis Xavier en Gettysburg. Fue un sobreviviente de trasplante de pulmón, y un hombre de gran voluntad que nunca se rindió ni se quejó.

Además de su esposa Sara, a Jesús le sobreviven sus hijos, Jesús Moreno-García y Avelina Moreno-García, ambos de New Oxford, Manuela Moreno-De-Zambrana de Hanover, y Eduardo Moreno-García de New Oxford, siete nietos, cuatro bisnietos y dos hermanas, Josefina Moreno e Isabel Moreno, ambas de México.

Una Misa de entierro cristiano se llevará a cabo el Viernes 27 de Octubre del 2017, a las 9 AM., En la Iglesia Católica St. Francis Xavier, 25 W. High St, Gettysburg, oficiada por el Reverendo Daniel Mitzel. El entierro sera en el Cementerio de New Oxford. El velorio se llevará a cabo el Jueves, de 6-8 PM en Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford. Jesus Moreno-Santoyo, 65, died Monday, October 23, 2017, at Inova Fairfax Hospital.  He was the husband of Sara Garcia DeMoreno.

Jesus was born July 24, 1952, in Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of the late Salvador Moreno-Nunez and Concepcion Santoyo.

Jesus was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Gettysburg.  He was a lung transplant survivor, and a very strong willed man who never gave up or complained.

In addition to his wife Sara, Jesus is survived by his children, Jesus Moreno-Garcia and Avelina Moreno-Garcia, both of New Oxford, Manuela Moreno-De-Zambrana of Hanover, and Eduardo Moreno-Garcia of New Oxford, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two sisters, Josefina Moreno and Isabel Moreno, both of Mexico.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017, at 9 AM, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 25 W. High St, Gettysburg, with Rev. Daniel Mitzel officiating.  Burial will be in New Oxford Cemetery.  A viewing will be held on Thursday, from 6-8 PM at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 3001 Gettysburg Rd, Camp Hill, PA  17011.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
