Jean E. (Kessler) Schriver, 77, passed Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Genesis Healthcare in Gettysburg. She was the wife of Thomas H. Schriver, her husband of 20 years, who passed November 11, 2019.
Jean was born November 7, 1944, in Hanover, the daughter of the late Raymond W. and Emma P. (Masenheimer) Kessler.
Jean attended Family Life Church in New Oxford, and retired from Susquehanna Bank after also working for Areo Oil in New Oxford for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, luncheons with her friends, and collecting antiques, and formerly had an antiques shop in New Oxford. Jean loved spending time with her family, and was a great lover of cats, especially her two, Maddie and Max.
Jean is survived by three daughters, Deborah L. Forbes and her fiancée Dale Wonder of Gettysburg, Linda J. Miller and her husband Lee of Fort Mill, SC, and Julie A. Curry and her husband Larry of New Oxford, seven grandchildren, Adam Snyder and his wife Crystal, Aaron Snyder, Alyssa Young and her husband Chris, Stefanie Shuffler, Brittany Shuffler, Levi Curry, and Cody Curry, a great granddaughter, Aubree Young, and a brother, Harold Kessler and his wife Shirley of Brodbecks. She was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Kessler, Jr, and a sister-in-law, Angel Kessler.
