Janet M. (Kuykendall) Heflin, 86, passed Friday, May 2, 2025, at her home.  She was the wife of Glenn H. Heflin, her husband of 68 years.

Janet was born March 27, 1939, in Adams Co., the daughter of the late Paul and Ruby (Simpson) Kuykendall.

Janet was a member of Gettysburg Church of The Brethren, where she was a past Sunday School teacher and deacon.  She was an executive secretary for Thonet Industries in York, and also worked as a bank teller.

In addition to her husband Glenn, Janet is survived by two sons; Chad D. Heflin and his wife Daisy of Carlisle, and David M. Heflin of New Oxford, a granddaughter, Rose R. Heflin, and a brother, Ronald Kuykendall.  She was predeceased by a grandson, Luke S. Heflin, and a brother, Earl Kuykendall.
