Jan C. Paul, 74, passed Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at his home.  He was the husband of Irene (Hamula) Paul, his wife of 54 years.

Jan was born July 13, 1949, in Johnstown, the son of the late M. Neil and Marie (Black) Paul.

Jan was a member of the American Legion in Hanover, McSherrystown Fish & Game, and served in the U.S. Army National Guard.

In addition to his wife Irene, Jan is survived by two sisters, Denise Custer and Kim Pesarchic, both of Johnstown, and four nieces, Annette, Marcy, Janel and Linsey.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 11 AM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, with Rev. Susan McCarthy officiating.  Burial will be in East Berlin Union Cemetery.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday, from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Helen O.
