James A. Smith, 82, passed Friday, June 10, 2022, at Genesis Healthcare in Gettysburg.  He was the husband of the late Nancy B. Smith, who passed August 29, 2006.

Jim was born January 21, 1940, in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late Louis J. Smith and the late Stella M. (Clemens) Dennis.

Jim was a member of Sacred Heart Basilica in Edgegrove, Hanover Moose, and a life member of New Oxford Social & Athletic Club.  He was employed at Jane's Market in Biglerville for 18 years.

Jim is survived by two sons, Daniel E. Smith of Frederick, MD, and Kenneth J. Smith and his wife Shelby of New Oxford, a daughter, Kathleen M. Moyer of Loris, SC, six grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a sister, Mary Jean Neiderer of New Oxford.  He was predeceased by a son, Joseph Smith, two brothers, Charles and Louis Smith, and three sisters, Patsy Faloni, Doris Clark, and Nancy Williams.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 11:30 AM, at Conewago Chapel Cemetery, Basilica Dr, Hanover, with Rev. Keith Carroll officiating.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 10-11 AM at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
