James "Jim" T. Keffer

James (Jim) Thomas Keffer, 74, died Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Eastside Hospital. He was preceded in death by Betty, his wife of 53 years.
Jim was born December 24, 1941 in Hanover, the son of the late Ralph and Mary Jane (Livelsberger) Keffer.
Jim was an active member of the Grace Fellowship Church of Snellville, Ga. where he was a greeter at the 9 a.m. services and a mainstay of the men's service group, the New Name group. Jim was a lifetime tennis player and golfer and enjoyed spending time with his wife, twelve grandchildren and his five children.
Jim is survived by daughter, Kathryn of Lawrenceville, Ga., daughter, Diane and her husband, Thomas Shoup of Hofheim, Germany; son, John and his wife, Amy of Fort Mill, S.C.; daughter, Bissy and her husband, Todd Elliott of Algonquin, Ill.; son, James and his wife, Teresa of Franklin, Tenn.; and his twelve grandchildren; his brother, Charles and sister-in-law, Dorothy of Midlothian, Va., a brother, Lawrence and sister-in-law, Patricia of Danbury, Conn., a brother, Roy and sister-in-law, Linda of Lititz; a sister, Mary and brother-in-law, Joseph of Herndon, Va., a sister, Ruth and her husband, James of Dayton, Nev., a sister, Joanne of Jackson, N.J.; a brother, Michael and his wife, Eva of Leola and a brother, George and his wife, Lori of Lawrence, Kan.; as well as his nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a memorial service is to be held in Snellville, GA at his church, Grace Fellowship. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the St. David Church Cemetery in Hanover, with Pastor Scott Sager officiating.
