James E. Hershey, 76, died Saturday, January 2, 2021, at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York.

James was born November 15, 1944, in York, the son of the late William and Relda (Shue) Hershey.

James was a 1962 graduate of Spring Grove High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, and was a member of the East Berlin V.F.W.

James is survived by a brother, Ronald L. Hershey and his wife Nancy of York, two nieces, Sharon A. Zepp and her husband Barry, and Cindy A. Balek and her husband Anthony, all of East Berlin, and several great nieces and great nephews.
