James R. Berwager, 84, passed Thursday, August 8, 2024, at his home.

Jim was born December 23, 1939, in Hanover, the son of the late Charles L. and Grace A. (Schriver) Berwager.

Jim retired in 2003 as business manager for Conewago Valley School District and was employed at Gateway Movie Theater in Gettysburg.  He was a member of New Oxford Rotary Club, and active in Hanover Little Theater.

Jim is survived by a half-sister, Marian Matthews of New Oxford, a brother, Robert L. Berwager and his wife Mary Ellen of New Oxford, a sister, Margaret Kalasky and her husband John of Harrisburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 11 AM, at Rest Haven Cemetery, Westminster Ave, Hanover.  Memorial contributions may be made to Dollars For Scholars, C/O Conewago Valley School District, 130 Berlin Rd, New Oxford, PA 17350.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
