Obituary

J. Glen Miller, 87, died Sunday, April 29, 2018, at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Frances L. (Mummert) Miller, his wife of 60 years, who died June 15, 2015.

Glen was born April 27, 1931, in Adams Co., the son of the late Paul E. and Dora N. (Neikirk) Miller.

Glen was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Thomasville, where he served as a deacon.

Glen is survived by a brother, D. Fred Miller of East Berlin, and three sisters, Elmira Myers of Dillsburg, Naomi Nell of Littlestown, and Rebecca Nell of New Oxford.  He was predeceased by three brothers, Paul, Donald and Raymond Miller, and a sister, Rachel Hoover.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 10:30 AM, at the Nicarry Meeting House of The Brethren Home Community, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, with Pastor Kermit Minnick officiating.  Burial will be in Mummert's Church Cemetery in Abbottstown.  There will be no viewing, however, the family will receive friends at the meeting house on Saturday, from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund of The Brethren Home Community at the address above, or to Westside Baptist Church, 4960 Lincoln Highway, Thomasville, PA  17364.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
