Iva O. (McLaughlin) Jarvis, 106, of Carlisle, died, Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community in Carlisle.

Iva was born November 17, 1911 in Clay, WV, the daughter of the late Thorton and Lucy (Rhodes) McLaughlin.

Iva was a member of the Chapel Hill Church of God, York Springs. She loved to garden, crochet, play cards and bingo. Iva will be missed and remembered as a wonderful grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and great great great grandmother.

Iva is survived by a son, Ezra D. Jarvis of New Oxford, a daughter, Lucy M. Heffelfinger and her husband George of Dillsburg, 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 30 great great grandchildren, and 2 great great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 daughters, 1 sister and 1 brother.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel Hill Church of God, 4521 Oxford Rd., York Springs with Rev. Randal R. Huber officiating. Burial will be in Sunny Side Cemetery, York Springs. A viewing will be held Tuesday at the church from 1 PM until the time of the service. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
