Ionannis "John" Tripas, 72, passed Monday, December 23, 2024, at WellSpan York Hospital.

Ioannis was born December 6,1952, in Katouna, Greece, the son of the late Yiorgos and Konstantina (Zaxaris) Tripas

Ionannis is survived by a son, Demetrius I. Tripas of Chambersburg, a daughter, Dena Tripas of Harrisburg, a brother, Panayiotis Tripas, and a sister, Arhondula Tzanis, both of Pantanassa, Greece, along with 16 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Dimitrios Tripas and a sister, Ekaterina Sakkas.
