Helen I. (Trone) Reindollar, 73, of Gettysburg, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Transitions Healthcare Nursing Home in Gettysburg. She was the wife of the late Garry L. Reindollar, who died on September 6, 2015, her husband of 53 years.
Helen was born November 10, 1945 in Hanover, the daughter of the late Roy and Ada (Markle) Trone.
Helen met her husband on her way to a dance. He was a friend that needed a ride to a dance in Frederick, MD. During their 53 years of marriage, three children were born and two grandchildren. During her marriage, Helen was a stay at home mother. Later, she worked at Winter Gardens Food Co. in New Oxford, for over 9 years as a packer. Riding on the back of her husband's motorcycle was a joy for Helen. Also, they shared many happy vacation memories with frequent visits to the property they owned in Florida. They enjoyed dancing at the Gettysburg Eagles, a non-profit organization. Helen also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and doing crossword puzzles.
Helen is survived by a son, Merle L. Reindollar and his wife Deanna of New Oxford, a granddaughter, Angela Reindollar and grandson Adam Reindollar, both of New Oxford and a brother, Burnell Trone and his wife Nadine of Spring Grove. She was predeceased by one son, Eugene A. Reindollar, a daughter, Sandy Reindollar, and a sister, Mary Lou Shriver.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 12 PM, from the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, with Rev. Doug Hahn officiating. Burial will follow at Marburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hanover. There will be a viewing at the Funeral Home on Thursday, from 10 AM until the time of the service.
